Following up from the AMVJ Competition Sony Music and Juggler commissioned me to produce Boom Boom Satellites new PV for the track “Shut up and Explode”. Wanting to continue their “visual remix” flavour I was lucky enough to be teamed up with the director of the Gundam series Yasuhiro Imagawa and “mashup” the contents of his new anime - ZAMD.

GLOBAL : I am directing Shantell Martin’s new album Koobs - a collection of her illustrative techniques and surreal sketches. The DVD is set for release in November 2008 and I will feature several remixes plus numerous edits with the DVD authoring. Its been a great opportunity to work with such an aspiring artist who has so quickly broken so much ground in the VJ/Design scene with her fresh approach towards live video.

LONDON : Ive been asked to develop the new animated logo series for UK Based media serving company - Green Hippo - a leading technology company who provide high end visual hardware products for shows such as Beyonce, Cirque de Soleil and the Blue Man Group.

The new logo animations will be bundled with the new products “Portomus” and “Critter” and all other exsisting products. Check them out » here

This is a short preview of my recent performance at Visualux; and audiovisual event that I have been running at superdeluxe. The goal of the event is to encourage an interactive educational element to an otherwise regular club/lounge event.

JAPAN : Im featured on the new CD/DVD release “Raid System” - by Japanese IDM Producer Broken Haze. This japanese crew Insector Labo (the label) is really turning out some top acts and a fresh source of music. The featured track is a remix of KMIXX’s video Beautiful Destruction - which the boys over at insector seemed to love - the album also includes great work by VJ REEL, and Masato Tsutsui.

SPAIN : I performed with other lightrhythm artsts Barcelona Primvera Sound Festival which took place at Parc Del Forum on 30th of May 2008. Working alongside Ellen Allien and Samian Mobile Disco - I hit up main stage with an attendance recorded at an all time high of 60,000.

TOKYO : I planned the screen setup and organized visual artists for an event at Seco Lounge in Shibuya to mark the release of the new compilation DVD “Ryuke – Tokyo Remix Sessions”. Several top lightrhythm acts were billed including VJMMM, Shantell Martin and Kevlar, gavve a solid platform for a dynamic audiovisual performances by VJ REEL and Broken Haze.

Key audio performances by the french act - “the shoes” and japanese allstar band “the samos” provided a dancable atmosphere which continued all night.
